On March 18, 2025, an old customer of our company sent us an inquiry for ASTM A193 Grade B8 Class 2 Stud Bolts, and each bolt was equipped with two hexagonal nuts and two washers. After the quotation was completed, the customer communicated the product details to us, and a week later, the customer placed an order with us.

ASTM A193
A standard specification from ASTM International for alloy and stainless steel bolts, studs, and other externally threaded fasteners.
Mainly used for bolting materials in high-temperature or high-pressure service.
Grade B8
Made from AISI 304 stainless steel (similar to SS304).
Has good corrosion resistance, especially in mild environments.
B8 bolts are widely used in non-sour and moderately corrosive environments.
Class 2
Indicates the bolt has been strain hardened (cold worked) for higher strength compared to Class 1.
Class 2 bolts are stronger than Class 1, but still maintain corrosion resistance.
