March 11, 2025, an old customer of our company sent us an inquiry for ASTM A213 alloy and stainless steel pipes. The customer put forward specific requirements for the prefix, and each item of pipes was individually wrapped in plastic film, and attention was paid to the separation of different steel grades to avoid potential difference corrosion caused by different steel grades.
ZIZI is a company specializing in the production and processing of pipes and fittings. The pipes and pipe fittings we produce are mainly used in chemical, petroleum, natural gas, water conservancy, electric power, marine engineering and other fields. The products mainly include seamless pipes, welded pipes, butt-welded pipe fittings, high-pressure forged pipe fittings and flanges of various sizes. The materials include carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy steel, low-temperature steel, duplex steel, base alloy, etc.

ASTM A213 is a standard specification that covers seamless ferritic and austenitic alloy steel boiler, superheater, and heat-exchanger tubes. This specification is widely used for pipes that are used in high-temperature environments where durability, strength, and resistance to thermal expansion and oxidation are required.

ASTM A213 is a standard specification for seamless ferritic and austenitic alloy steel tubes that are commonly used in boilers, superheaters, and heat exchangers. When referring to ASTM A213 Stainless Steel Tubes, it typically involves austenitic stainless steel tubes like T304, T316, and other high-performance alloys that offer excellent resistance to heat, corrosion, and oxidation at elevated temperatures.

Visual Inspection:
Purpose: To check for external defects such as cracks, seams, pits, or other surface flaws that could affect the pipe’s structural integrity.
Criteria: The surface should be free of any visible defects like blisters, burns, scale, or foreign matter.
Method: Visual inspection can be done under proper lighting and may include the use of magnifying tools to identify minor surface defects.
Dimensional Inspection:
Purpose: To ensure the pipes conform to the specified dimensions, including outer diameter, wall thickness, length, and tolerances.
Tools: Calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and go/no-go gauges are commonly used.
