Different Welding Conditions
Welding of stainless steel pipes can reduce the passivation layer and produce brittleness. Galvanized steel pipe welding can generate zinc oxide smoke, which can be hazardous if inhaled by the human body, and welding can damage the zinc coating. Generally, welding is performed before galvanizing or zinc coating is added after welding.
