On July 4, 2024, we received an inquiry from our client in the Philippines for various SS 304 stainless steel forged pipe fittings, including grease fittings, threaded elbow, hex nipples, square plugs, reducer bushings, hose connectors, and hose clamps. These products are used for pipeline connections and water treatment systems. I sent a quotation with product pictures to the client. On August 14, we received the purchase order, and the payment was completed on August 22. On September 2, we provided the packing list and bill of lading. The whole process was smooth and strengthened our relationship with the client.
From the purchase list, it can be seen that the materials required by the client are mainly SS304. Let's take a closer look at the SS304 material. SS 304 (AISI 304) is a commonly used stainless steel alloy, primarily composed of 18% chromium and 8% nickel. Its other components include low levels of carbon, manganese, silicon, phosphorus, and sulfur. It offers excellent corrosion resistance, high durability, and good formability.
