ASME B16.11 is the American Society of Mechanical Engineers standard for socket and threaded pipe fittings and includes detailed specifications for socket and threaded elbows. Socket elbow is a kind of high pressure elbow pipe connecting fittings which is formed by die forging round steel or steel ingot. The threaded elbow is composed of a thread, a bending part, the feature is a threaded groove on the screw. These two elbows are often used in changes the direction of the pipeline, fields requiring high pressure and precision size in petrochemical industry, medicine and health, environmental protection and so on.
Socket Elbow
Threaded Elbow
ASME B16.11 Socket and threaded elbow pressure grades: The pressure grades of socket fittings are 3000LB (SCH80), 6000LB (SCH160), 9000 (XXS). The pressure grades of threaded fittings are 2000LB, 3000LB and 6000LB.
Pressure and Wall Thickness Grades:
ASME B16.11 elbow common degrees are 90 degrees and 45 degrees, also divided into long radius equal diameter elbow or reducing elbow.
Thread Street Elbows
Socket elbow and thread elbow are generally made of carbon steel, alloy steel and stainless steel.
Elbow Manufacturing Materials Table:
We(Shanghai Zhucheng Pipe Fittings Manufacturing Co Ltd) is professional engaged in manufacture of Steel pipe(seamless/welded), pipe fittings(butt welding, socket weld, threaded),and flanges in pipe system of all kinds of materials(carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy steel, low temp steel, pipeline steel). In order to get to a successful cooperation with customers, normally we are willing to provide free samples to all customers if required.(The customer should be responsible for the freight and the samples should be in common size and material)
