  • ASTM A403 Austenitic Stainless Steels

Austenitic stainless steel is a stainless steel with austenitic structure at room temperature. Steady austenite structure exists in steels containing about 18% Cr, 8%~25% Ni and 0.1% C. Austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steels include the well-known 18Cr-8Ni steel and the high Cr-Ni series steel developed on this basis by adding elements such as Mo, Cu, Si, Nb and Ti. Austenitic stainless steels are non-magnetic and have high toughness and plasticity, but have low strength and cannot be strengthened by phase transformation, they can only be strengthened by cold working. Austenitic stainless steel is the most popular and widely used around the world.

  • Ring-Joint Facings Dimensions - Class 150 to Class 2500

Ring-Joint Facing is a common kind of flange sealing surface. Ring-joint facing flange, also a narrow flange, has a ring trapezoid cut out on the protruding surface of the flange as the flange sealing surface. This flange must be separated axially during installation and removal. The ring-joint facing is specially designed to fit with metal gaskets with octagonal or circular shape processed by metal materials. It also has low installation requirements and is suitable for high temperature and pressure situations. However, the machining precision of sealing surface is high. Ring-joint facing is mainly used on butt-welded flange with neck and integral flange, and the applicable pressure range is 6.3MPa-25.0MPa.

  • Differences Between Galvanized Steel Pipe and Stainless Steel Pipe

Galvanized pipe and stainless steel pipe are commonly used pipes. Galvanized pipes are coated with zinc to achieve corrosion resistance. Stainless steel pipe is added with antioxidant metal elements to greatly resist corrosion. Different steels will work better depending on the application they are used in. There are many factors to consider when selecting galvanized steel pipes or stainless steel pipes. At the same time, we need to understand the basic knowledge of galvanized steel pipes and stainless steel pipes. Stainless steel pipes and galvanized steel pipes are often mixed.

  • EN 10241 Threaded Elbow Pipe Fittings

EN 10241 was developed by the European Standards Union. This European standard specifies requirements for threaded fittings of nominal sizes from DN 6 to DN 150 inclusive, made out of welded or seamless steel tubes, forging and rolled bars. It is applicable to those threaded steel pipe fittings that are used in the transportation and distribution of liquid or gas.

  • NPT Threaded Full Coupling Introduction

Threaded couping is a common accessory in industrial pipe connection. It is mainly used to connect a short pipe of two pipes. It is a high-pressure pipe accessory formed by forging blank with round steel or steel ingot and then machining thread on lathe. The principle it uses is to clamp both ends of the steel pipe in both ends of the threaded pipe clamp.

  • 3000# Socket Weld 90 Degree Elbow

Socket elbow is a high-pressure elbow pipe connection fitting, which is formed by die-forged billet of round steel or steel ingot and then processed by lathe. It is one of the forged socket series fittings. Socket elbow is composed of socket, socket, bending part and socket slot. It is characterized by socket slot on the socket, which is located at both ends of the bending part.
