EN1092-1 is the production standard for European standard flanges, mainly used for pipeline and equipment connections, including connecting pipes, valves, pumps, and other equipment. Its characteristic lies in the use of flange connections with strict matching ratios, which can effectively improve the quality of the pipeline and ensure safety and reliability during use. What Type Of Flange Is EN1092-1 TYPE11
As can be seen from the above picture, the TYPE11 type flange is a weld neck flange. Weld-neck flange is a type of flange pipe with a neck and a circular steel pipe connection, which is connected to the pipe end by butt welding. Weld neck flanges are not easy to deform and are used in conjunction with bolts and gaskets. They have good sealing performance, corresponding rigidity and elasticity requirements, and reasonable welding thinning transition. The distance between the welding junction and the joint surface is large, avoiding the joint surface from being deformed by welding temperature. They adopt a relatively complex horn shaped structure and are suitable for pipelines with large pressure or temperature fluctuations, as well as pipelines with high temperature, high pressure, and low temperature.
