When the oval ring gasket is installed between two connecting parts (such as flanges), a certain pressure is applied to the gasket by tightening the connecting bolts. Corrosion Resistance
In the chemical industry, corrosive media such as various acids, alkalis, and salt solutions are often exposed. SS316 oval ring gaskets have good corrosion resistance to acidic solutions such as sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid, as well as alkaline solutions such as sodium hydroxide.
High Strength
SS316 has high strength and can withstand certain pressure and stress. In pipeline connections, especially in high-pressure pipeline systems, oval ring gaskets need to withstand the pressure from the medium inside the pipeline and the stress generated when the connecting flange is tightened.
