ASTM A403 is a standard specification for stainless steel buttweld fittings, the common used grades are WP304/304L and WP316/316L. Both of them have a good weldability, strength and resistance.
This specification covers the standard for wrought austenitic stainless steel fittings for pressure piping applications. The material for fittings shall consist of forgings, bars, plates, or seamless or welded tubular products.

Type of ASTM A403 Stainless Steel Fittings
It is one type of buttweld pipe fittings that used to change direction of the pipeline. There are many types such as Long Radius and Short Radius Elbow, Straight and Reducing Elbow, 90 Degree and 45 Degree Elbow.
It is T-shaped with three outlets in same or different size, and we called them as equal tee and reducing tee.
Stainless Steel Cap
It is usually welded onto end of pipe that block off the the piping line system, it has same function with plug and blind flange.
Stainless Steel Bend
The bending radius is 3D, 5D, 6D, 7D, 8D, 9D, 10D, etc. The manufacturing process can be hot bend, cold bend, induction bend.
Stainless Steel Cross Tee
It has one inlet and three outlets or three inlets and one outlet.
Stainless Steel Stub End
It is generally matched with flange and benefit the flange to align bolt holes smoothly. There are two types that long pattern and short pattern.
Stainless Steel Pipe Reducer
It is used to enlarge or reduce the diameter about center line. There are two types that concentric and eccentric reducer.
