Threaded cap is a type of threaded pipe fittings, also known as plug. It is a high-pressure pipe fitting that is inserted on the pipe end to cover the pipe. It is used to close the pipe for the same purpose as pipe plug. It is formed by forging blank of round steel or steel ingot and then processed threads on lathe.
Threaded Pipe Fittingsare pipe fittings with threads, made of stainless steel, alloy steel, carbon steel and other materials, suitable for each pipe connection. The common threaded pipe fittings are: Threaded Elbow, Threaded Cross, Threaded Tee, Threaded Coupling, Threaded Cap, Threaded Union, Threaded Nipple, Swage Nipple, Hex Nipple, Threaded Plug, and Bushing.

Thread Type
NPT: It is an American standard 60 degree conical pipe thread, which is divided into general sealing cylindrical pipe thread and general sealing conical pipe thread. The matching mode is "cone/cone" matching and "column/cone" matching.
PT: It is a 55 degree sealed conical pipe thread belonging to the Whitney thread family, mostly used in Europe and Commonwealth countries, and commonly used in the water and gas pipe industry.
BSPP: It is the British standard for cylindrical pipe threads, it only has internal threads.
BSPT: It is the standard inch tapered tube thread with a tooth angle of 55 degrees and a taper of 1:16 degrees.
PF: It is a parallel pipe thread for general joining.
