Forged Steel Flanges are used to connect pipes,valves,fittings, strainers and pressure vessels. They are joined by bolting, and sealing is often completed with the use of gaskets or other methods. The flanges are suitable for connection of steel pipes conveying mediums such as steam, oil, air and water. They are widely used in Chemical industry and Shipbuilding.

Types

• Plate Flange (PL): Simple, cheap and wide used.

• Slip-on Flange (SO) : Insert steel pipe and fittings to the inside of flange and weld together.

• Weld Neck Flange (WN): The neck part is used to weld to steel pipe, it has reasonable structure, large strength and safe sealing.

• Socket Weld Flange (SW)：The pipe is inserted into the socket end and fillet weld, it is usually used for the small size pipeline.

• Threaded Flange (TH): The flange bore will be machine in thread type and connect the steel pipe which has thread ends. It is easy to install and maintain.

• Blind Flange (BL): It is used to block the end of pipeline. Same function as cap and plug.
