ASTM A312 TP316/316L is a low carbon austenitic stainless steel grade.This stainless steel pipe is made with high-quality ingredients of nickel, chromium and molybdenum, making it suitable to be used in different industries. This allows it to have better performance on excellent corrosion and oxidation resistance. This grade contains standard seamless, welded, ERW, EFW and cold-drawn piping components.
ASTM A312 Gr 316/316L seamless pipes are produced when a hot billet passes through the extruded metal to precisely shape the material to the correct dimensions. This A312 TP 316/316L seamless pipe is slightly more expensive due to the production material; However, this grade has excellent load carrying capacity and strength because they do not have any welds or joints on the pipe surface.
ASTM A312 TP316/316L cold drawn seamless tubing is manufactured immediately after the hot rolling process. These pipes are machined at normal room temperature, run on a mold, and have higher strength and surface finish compared to ordinary steel.
