ASME B16.11 hex nipple have hexagon shaped section in the middle and male thread on both ends to associate two other pipes or fittings.There are different types such as A105 threaded reducing hex nipple or stainless steel hex nipple.
These threaded hex nipples are availabe in various sizes and specificaitons. And the feature is easy for torquing, tightening, loosening, installing by wrench. And also have a good resistance.
Threaded fittings come in a variety of sizes and shapes and can provide an effective seal for pipes transporting liquids, gas and steam. They twist onto pipe using various male and female thread connections including NPT or BSP.
All types of hex nipples are manufactured and inspected to standard of ASME B16.11 or EN 10242, for carbon steel material surface, it can be electro-galvanized or hot dip galvanized.
