ASME B16.11 Threaded couplings are applied to connect pipes and fittings with threaded connection ends. It have both ends in threaded type or one end type, called full threaded coupling and half threaded couplings. ASME B16.11 is the standard for the all kinds of forged fittings which include ASME B16.11 threaded coupling. It contains pressure-temperature ratings, dimensions, tolerances, markings and material requirements for forged fittings.
Specification
Standard: ASME / ANSI B16.11
Pressure rating class: 2000 LBS, 3000 LBS, 6000 LBS
Material: different kinds of carbon steels, stainless steels, alloy steels and non-ferrous metals certified to ASTM, ASME Standard.
Sizes range: 1/8”- 4” in Class 3000 and 1/8”- 4”in Class 6000 (size over 4 inches can be customized)
Threads type : American national standard taper pipe threads NPT. Also available in other thread forms: NPTF, NPSC, BSPT, BSPP and in any combination.
