What is ASTM A105 Threaded Elbow
ASTM A105 threaded elbow is the name of the pipe fittings part, threaded is the type of the end connection and ASTM A105 is the material type of it. So ASTM A105 is a elbow with threaded end which is made from American standard forged carbon steel, but if we need verify the exact material, we still need more information bout it, like the angel is 45 degree or 90 degree, threaded type( usually we tacitly approve it is NPT threads in American standard).
What are types of threads
There are two main type of the treads:parallel threads and tapered threads, their difference is that tapered ones will grow smaller when it is closer to the end of the fitting, mean while parallel threads keep the same diameter all the time. Parallel threads contains BSPP, UN/UNF, and metric coarse and tapered threads includes metric tapered, BSPT, and NPT thread/NPTF threads.
For ASTM A105 threaded elbow, the threads don't have to be NPT, you can mentioned the exact type of threads you need in your description and customize it.

Package and Inspection
As for the inspection, we will proceed the inspecting according to ASME B16.11 standard about visual check, surface and marking, and the size measuring, come into and inspection record in the QA/QC department.
We are qualified to offer the 3.1 Material Test Certificates.
For size under 2 inch ASTM A105 socket weld elbow, we will put them into cartons and make list then packed cartons into standard sea transfer wooden case. When the size is larger that 2 inches, the carton is not applied.
