What is Hex Nipple
ASTM A182 hex nipple is a commonly used accessory in industrial pipeline connections. Common types include straight hex nipple and reducing hex nipple, with a hexagonal in the middle and threaded connections on both ends.
The hexagon shape of hex nipple allows for a wrench to grasp it securely. If you come across a hex nipple with two different sizes on each end, it is referred to as a reducer or unequal nipple.
