Description of Threaded Elbow
Threaded Elbow is a pipe fitting that changes the direction of piping. According to the Angle, there are 45° and 90° most commonly used. Elbow material can be divided into carbon steel, alloy steel and stainless-steel.
Threaded pipe elbows provide permanent welded connections for pipes. Threaded joints probably represent the oldest method of joining piping systems. Threaded elbows are mainly used for small pipe diameters (Small Bore Piping); generally, for piping whose nominal diameter is NPS 2 or smaller.
They are available in three pressure ratings: 2000lbs, 3000lbs and 6000lbs.

NPT Thread Elbow
NPT threaded elbow dimensions and weight are according to ASME B16.11 standard. The types of female/female & male / female elbow, 90 and 45 degree elbow. Their size are from 1/8″ to 4″ and pressure range includes Class 2000, 3000 and 6000.
NPT threaded elbow is actually a fitting that is being installed in between the two lengths of tube or a pipe to allow in changing the direction of a flow.

Inspection of NPT Threaded Elbow
Visual the surface of NPT threaded elbow body.
Check the marking “NPT 1-1/4” 3000# A105 B16.11 231″
Measure dimensions. Such as outside diameter, inside diameter , wall thickness, length of thread.
Test thread of NPT threaded elbow with Go-No Go Gauge.
Package
Firstly, pack all carbon steel threaded elbows in cartons and stick label on the face of cartons.
Secondly, Put all the cartons into wooden box or crates and make shipping mark outside.
However, the packaging can be customized according to the customer's specific requirements.
