What is Threaded Steel Pipe Fittings
There are several ways to connect pipes without welding, threaded pipe fittings is type to connect easily.
Threaded joints probably represent the oldest method of joining piping systems.
They are available in three pressure ratings: 2000lbs, 3000lbs and 6000lbs.
Class 3000 threaded coupling is a short piece of pipe with inner screw in NPT or BSP at both ends or one end. Class 3000 threaded coupling has various dimensions, size and weight chart. It comes in a variety sizes from 1/8 inch to 4 inch and length can be customized. While the shapes of coupling are full & half or straight & reducing. ANSI/ASME B16.11 coupling is a commonly used accessories in threaded pipe fittings for industrial pipe connections. They twist onto pipe using male and female thread connections including NPT or BSP.
