What is Threaded Elbow

Threaded elbow have three pressure ratings: 2000lbs, 3000lbs and 6000lbs, and can made of various materials such as carbon steel threaded elbow, low temperature steel threaded elbow, alloy steel threaded elbow, stainless steel threaded elbow, etc.
Class 3000 threaded elbow is used to change the direction of a pipeline. Commonly have 90 °Elbow, 45 °Elbow. Sometimes, there is also a sort of using reducing elbows which need to achieving connection with reducing pipes while changing the direction of the pipes.
Class 3000 threaded elbow dimensions and weight are according to ASME B16.11 standard. The types of female/female & male / female elbow, 90 and 45 degree elbow. Their size are from 1/8″ to 4″ .
Class 3000 Threaded Elbow Standard
ASME B16.11: This standard specifies the pressure and temperature ratings, dimensions, tolerances, standards, and materials for socket welded and threaded fittings. Manufacturers and purchasers can coordinate the manufacture of forged and rolled material fittings of special sizes, shapes, etc. The criteria for selecting pipe fitting types and materials suitable for specific fluid use are not within the scope of this standard.
BS 3799: 1974 Specification for steel pipe fittings, screwed and socket-welding for the petroleum industry. This standard covers ratings, dimensions, tolerances, marking, and material requirements for both Socket Weld Fittings and Threaded Fitting
GB/T 14383: This standard specifies in detail the dimensions, materials, manufacturing, inspection, testing, marking, and supply content of forged socket welded and threaded fittings. The manufacturing of socket welded and threaded fittings usually uses metal materials with a nominal size not exceeding DN100 forged in industrial pipeline systems.
