What is Threaded Coupling
Class6000 Half Threaded Coupling
Class6000 Full Threaded Coupling
Class 6000 Threaded coupling means the coupling has threads at one or both ends. It is a commonly used accessory for industrial pipe connections.
ASME B16.11 Class 6000 Threaded couplings are applied to connect pipes and fittings with threaded connection ends. It have both ends in threaded type or one end type, called full threaded coupling and half threaded couplings. ASME B16.11 is the standard for the all kinds of forged fittings which include ASME B16.11 threaded coupling. It contains pressure-temperature ratings, dimensions, tolerances, markings and material requirements for forged fittings.
Threaded Type
Sometimes the two ends thread may be different, such as one end is BSP and another end is NPT, then it is like a adaptor for pipes which have different type of thread ends. The workers should check the direction for correct match before installing it.
Also available in other thread forms: NPTF, NPSC, BSPT, BSPP and in any combination.

We always inspect the goods when delivery. For the threaded coupling, we usually inspect the OD and threaded type. For the stainless steel and alloy steel materials, we will also make PMI inspection.
Advantages of Class 6000 Threaded Coupling
Tight thread engagement: The threaded coupling engages with the external thread of the pipe through the internal thread. During the tightening process, the friction between the threads makes the connection tight and firm. This connection method can withstand large tension and torque, effectively preventing the pipe from loosening or falling off during use.
Good sealing performance: When tightening the threaded pipe clamp, a certain sealing effect will be formed between the threads, which can effectively prevent medium leakage. In addition, some high-quality threaded pipe clamps will also be equipped with sealing gaskets to further enhance the sealing performance.
Convenient and quick installation
Simple operation: The installation process of the threaded coupling is relatively simple, and does not require complex tools and professional technicians. Just put the pipe clamp on the two pipes to be connected, and then tighten it with a wrench or other tools to complete the connection. This simple operation method greatly reduces the installation cost and time cost.
Reusable: When the pipeline needs to be disassembled or replaced, the threaded coupling can be easily disassembled and reused. This feature saves the cost of pipe fittings during the maintenance and renovation of the pipeline system.
