What is Threaded Tee
As one of the most common pipe fittings, threaded tee is used to combine or divide fluid flow. Usually it is a fitting in which the side inlet pipe enters at a 90-degree angle, or an angle other than 90 degrees.
Class 6000 Threaded tee fittings are known for their T shape. And they feature three branches: one in the middle and two on the both side. With the center branch being perpendicular to the side branches, tee fittings are shaped like the letter T.
Tees can connect pipes of different diameters, change the direction of a pipe run, or both. Available in various materials, sizes and finishes, they may also be used to transport two-fluid mixtures.
What is the Difference Between Male Thread and Female Thread Fitting
Male thread fitting-a male thread has the grooves known as the thread on the outside (externally).
Female thread fitting-a female thread has the grooves known as the thread on the inside (internally).

Inspection
Visual the surface of pipe tee body, such as dents, die marks, porosity, undercuts etc.
Check the marking such as size, material code, material grade, thickness, heat No.
Measure the dimensions such as outside diameter, thickness, length of thread.
Test threads of threaded tee with Go/no Go Gauge.
