What is a Concentric Reducer and Stainless Steel 321
Concentric reducer is designed to connect two parts of tubes or pipes of different sizes when they are on the same center axis in the pipe line. For example, a Stainless steel 321 concentric reducer will be applied when a 1/2 inch pipe is going to transit into an 1 inch pipe end meanwhile the two ends of the pipes don’t need to keep in the same level. The Concentric Reducer can be made from different kind of materials including carbon steel, alloy steel and stainless steel depending on the whole pipeline.
Stainless steel 321 concentric reducer is made of material stainless steel 321. Stainless steel 321, also known as 0Cr18Ni9Ti321 is special because it contains the elements titanium , and Ti has a very good function in intergranular corrosion test, so stainless steel 321 has a good corrosion resistance and good performance in low-temperature environment. Also stainless steel 321 has a good tolerance in the oxidizing acid such as nitric acid.
