What is Stainless Steel Blind Flange
Flanges are used to connect pipes with each other, to valves, to fittings, and to specialty items such as strainers and pressure vessels. A cover plate can be connected to create a "blind flange". Flanges are joined by bolting, and sealing is often completed with the use of gaskets or other methods.
Stainless Steel blind flanges are generally different from other types of weld fittings. This is because they do have the typical bolt holes around the perimeter, but they don't have the typical hole that moves through the center of pipe flanges.
Stainless Steel Blind Flange is a solid disk used to block off a pipeline or to create a stop. It is useful for making repairs to a pipeline and also for expansion or continuation of the pipeline simply by adding onto the final flange.
Sealing Surface of Blind Flange
Raised Face (RF)
Flat Faced (FF)
Blind flange RF, it it better recommend a standard ring gasket that is appropriate for the service and test.
Blind flange FF, it will be good use a full face gasket, due to against the handle of bending forces.
