What Is UNS S32750 Duplex Stainless Steel Pipe ?
UNS S32750 Duplex Stainless Steel Pipe contains 25% chromium, 7% nickel, and 3.7% molybdenum, while S32760 contains 25.4% chromium, 5.6% nickel, and 3% molybdenum. Additionally, they have a higher nitrogen content and yield strength than the more corrosion-resistant SDS UNS S32760 pipe. The use of duplex 2507 S32750 stainless steel should be limited to applications below 6000 degrees Fahrenheit (3160 degrees Celsius). Prolonged high temperature exposure will reduce the toughness and corrosion resistance of 2507 alloy. High chromium, molybdenum and nitrogen levels provide excellent resistance to pitting, crevice and general corrosion. The dual-phase structure gives 2507 excellent resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking.
